Areas of Application
Designed for caulking joints in traditional timber decking on boats, yachts and commercial ships. It is intended for experienced professional users; adhesion and material compatibility must be confirmed under actual conditions.
Application
Surface preparation
Surfaces must be clean, dry and free from grease, oil and dust. Timber requires a suitable primer such as Sika® Primer-290 DC. Determine any additional treatment for perimeter joints through preliminary tests.
Application
Apply with suitable pump, dosing or piston-gun equipment. Process between 5 °C and 35 °C; the preferred temperature for substrate, product and environment is 15–25 °C.
Removal
Remove uncured material with Sika® Remover-208 or a suitable solvent. Cured material can only be removed mechanically; do not use solvents on skin.
