Areas of Application
Designed for direct glazing in marine OEM and repair work and suitable for mineral-glass windows. Seek technical advice before installing laminated safety glass with heating elements. It can be finely tooled for exposed joints; test actual substrates and conditions before use.
Application
Surface preparation
Surfaces must be clean, dry and free from grease, oil, dust and contamination. Use substrate-specific Sika® pre-treatment guidance and confirm the process with tests.
Application
Process between 10 °C and 35 °C, preferably at 15–25 °C. Apply a triangular bead for uniform thickness and install the glass before the adhesive skins. Hand, pneumatic, electric and pump equipment may be used.
Tooling and finishing
Tool within the skin time. Sika® Tooling Agent N is recommended; test alternatives before use.
