Areas of Application
Suitable for permanent elastic sealing on metals, metal primers, 2-component paint coatings, ceramics and plastics. Obtain advice and test original substrates when materials may be prone to stress cracking.
Application
Surface preparation
Surfaces must be clean, dry and free from grease, oil and dust. Select the correct pre-treatment for the substrate and verify it with tests.
Application
Process between 5 °C and 40 °C, preferably at 15–25 °C. Apply using hand, pneumatic or electric piston guns, or suitable pump equipment.
Tooling and finishing
Tool within the skin time. The cured sealant may be painted after preliminary compatibility trials; allow full cure before paint baking where applicable.
